About Jeff Nassiff
Jeff Nassiff, one of the Directors of the GSO,
passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008 after a long battle with
cancer. Jeff was an important piece of turning the idea for The
Greater Siouxland Open into reality. Jeff was the tournament
“marshall” on the front nine for boys and girls 10-12. He’s the guy
that reviewed the rules and then launched each group.
Jeff loved kids, he loved golf, and he loved helping others. He was the embodiment of what the GSO is all about.
While he will be sorely missed, his spirit lives on through this event. Jeff Nassiff was
46.
The Greater Siouxland Open will be
renamed in honor of Jeff to
The Jeff Nassiff Greater Siouxland
Open.
